WHAT IS A REGIONAL CONSULTANT
The Louisiana Baptist Convention has 1200 plus "SMALLER CHURCHES" most are pastored by "BIVOCATIONAL MINISTERS".
The task of reaching out to those churches and ministers is large and very important.
To better accomplish the task, the Bivocational and Smaller Church Ministry Department has divided the state into Eight (8) Regional Areas.
Ideally, each regional area would have a regional bivocational consultant.
Because of budget restraints, that is not possible at present; but, some have stepped up and volunteered to assist at little or no cost.

What does a Regional Bivocational Ministry consultant do ?

In a nutshell, the consultant is a coordinator
  • Working with the LBC Director of Bivocational and Smaller Church Ministry Department to affirm and assist the Bivocational and Smaller Church Pastors in the LBC

    • There are 1620 Churches in the LBC
    • There are 19 Directors of Missions (D.O.M.'s)
